Delete account and data

1. 1. Delete from the app

   Open Huisie and go to You -> Account. Choose Delete account and confirm your request. Huisie will put your account into deletion and block access to the app while we remove your data.

   When deletion is complete, your session is gone and you will see the welcome screen again.

2. 2. No longer have access to the app

   If you no longer have the app, send an email to hallo@mijnhuisie.nl from the email address you used for your Huisie account. Say that you want your account and associated data deleted.

   We use that email address to verify that the request really comes from you. If you write from another address, we will ask for additional verification before deleting.

3. 3. Data we delete

   We delete your Huisie account, name, email address, sessions, email verification data, search profiles, wishes, favorites, matches, notification history, notification preferences, push tokens, and other account settings linked to your user.

   Where possible, we also delete the RevenueCat customer record linked to your Huisie user ID.

4. 4. Data we keep

   We keep public listing data and listing images because they are not account data and remain part of the housing-search service. We may keep anonymized or aggregated data for quality and statistics.

   We keep operational and security logs only as long as needed, generally no more than 30 days. Subscription, payment, and administration data may be kept longer by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or where law requires it.

5. 5. Cancel subscriptions

   Deleting your Huisie account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have Huisie Pro through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it separately through the app store, otherwise the app store may keep billing you.

   You can manage your subscription in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
